MEMORIAL DAY 2005 at the river

Memorial Day 2005- It was cloudy and we couldn't find anyone to go with us to the river. We bought a new tube and new life jackets...now we're 'good to go' ! The kids didn't care about the clouds or rain. All of us wanted to get away from the house to relax.

We made a "pit stop", so Jessica and Brent played Rock, Paper, Scissors. I bet they're deciding who's falling off first!

They're having a blast!!! It was a busy day at the river.

Jessica is confident she won't fall. I tried to get Steve to speed up, but it didn't work.

I think they were using velcro to keep themselves on the tube.

They're tired, but they don't want to stop riding. We were pulling them while heading towards the dock.

SURPRISE BIRTHDAY FOR THE PREACHER MAN!

L to R: Billy Ferguson (preacher); Allie Ferguson; Lisa Ferguson.

Steve is getting a hug from Allie Ferguson. Allie was adopted from China by Billy and Lisa Ferguson.

L to R: Emily Chaffin (Lee Middle); Jessica Pyle (New Hope); Caitlyn Grimes (Kosiusko Middle). We were at Reubens for the preacher's surprise birthday party.

CHEER CAMP WEEK

Varsity on the back row, Jr. Varsity on the middle row, and Jr. High sitting down.

WOW! Some of New Hope's best looking girls in one picture! This is a picture of three squads -maybe 4. (Varsity, Varsity Basketball, Jr. Varsity, Jr. High). By the look on Jessica's face, she's just glad to be part of it.

Jessica is on the back row, third from the left.

Jessica and Alex take a quick picture.

Time to load the vehicles and head towards Tuscaloosa to the University of Alabama!!

Jessica & Malory in their dorm room.

A DAY FOR JUMPERS!!!

jUmPeRs!!! What kid doesn't like jumpers? The 4th grade teachers wanted to give the kids an "End Of The Year Party".

I brought our Alabama canopy for the teachers, but it seemed the kids enjoyed the shade more.

FIELD DAY FOR THE 4TH GRADE

FIELD DAY: Brent is hanging out with his buds...or are the buds hanging out with Brent as usual.?. Brent is never alone and there's never a dull moment! Brent ran the 200 yd relay with 3 other guys and got FIRST PLACE!

AWARDS DAY: I didn't want to show my picture, but...this is to remind Jessica that I was there when she got her outstanding awards. "Proud of you, girl!"
